Welcome to my website! My name's Rae Hillman and I'm a California-born, Denton, Texas-raised and now NYC based AEA actor!!
​
Ever since sitting in the orchestra pit with my dad (a percussionist) at "Kiss Me, Kate" when I was eight years old, I knew that the only thing I EVER wanted to do was perform. I grew up watching old movie musicals and was (and still am) heavily influenced by them as both a person and performer. Singin' in the Rain is still my favorite movie of all time and I will worship Donald O'Connor FoREveR. make 'em laugh, bby.
Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, I trained as hard as I could, which eventually led me to attend Oklahoma City University where I graduated in May of 2022 with Bachelors of Music in both Music Theatre and Vocal Performance (go stars!!) !

It is my #1 goal to create theatre that makes people think, feel and, above all else, laugh. I love the feeling of knowing that the art I'm creating is spreading joy and giving the world just a little bit of light!

When I'm not onstage, I'm usually juggling, crafting, going for a hot girl walk, watching anything starring Tom Hiddleston (usually Thor: Ragnarok), doing a puzzle, and most importantly, drinking a cold brew!!

RECENTLY
Most recently, Rae made her NYC debut playing Dot/Marie in Theater2020's Sunday in the Park with George at the Mark O'Donnell Theater in Brooklyn Heights. Originally playing Celeste #1 and understudying Dot, she stepped into the role for the entirety of the run after one rehearsal. Check out a review of her performance!!
